CARE Annual Report

In 2011 significant progress was made toward diverting carpet from landfills across the United States, and recycling post-consumer carpet into new products. CARE's Tenth Annual Report documents the landfill diversion rate for the 2011 calendar year (January to December), and evaluates CARE's progress since the organization released its first Annual Report for 2002. The 2011 Annual Report, the result of surveys conducted CARE, provides data on the various diversion management methods: recycling, reuse, cement kilns, and waste-to-energy applications. The report also covers product and market development activities and industry products and programs.
