CARE Annual Report
In 2007 significant progress was made toward fulfilling the goals of the Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) that established the Carpet America Recovery Effort. CARE's Sixth Annual Report documents the landfill diversion rate for the 2007 calendar year (January to December), and evaluates CARE's progress since the organization released its first six years ago. The 2007 Annual Report, the result of surveys conducted by Weston Solutions, Inc., provides data on the various diversion management methods as outlined in the MOU: recycling, reuse, cement kilns, and waste-to-energy applications. The report also covers product and market development activities and industry products and programs.
